CFA 5-1 is a proud member of the Chesterfield Football Association and the Gateway Football League. Over our first 3 seasons the team has enjoyed  a great deal success on the field, however, as we enter our fourth year together our team goals and values have and will continue to remain the same from when we started at the 2nd grade level.

Those Goals and Values are:

1) Every player is valued, we will strive to maximize participation and play time for every member of our team.

2) The coaching staff commits to working diligently with every player to help them improve, and  have fundamentally sound football techniques that will prepare them for High School Level football.

3) We take a team first approach. Football allows our staff the opportunity to provide a great life lesson, that lesson is to embrace a team first philosophy. Being part of a team requires that every player, coach and parent understands that they have responsibility to team first and not any one individual. 

4) Win or lose we will conduct ourselves in a manner that displays sportsmanship at all times.  

5) FUN. This is a game, the young boys that seek out this sport are looking to have fun. Players, parents and coaches must always remember that this must be a fun experience as we teach the values and fundamentals of the game.

CFA 5-1 is excited to once again participate in the GFL for the 2013 season. We look forward to great competition, and most importantly insuring a fun experience for all who participate.
