CFA Golf Tournament Details

Our first annual Chesterfield Football Association Golf Tournament will be held July 12, 2008 at The Landings in Chesterfield Valley. The 4-person scramble will start at 1:30p.m. with lunch being served at noon. A cocktail reception will start at 6:00p.m. followed by dinner and awards presentation at 7:00p.m.

Sponsorship opportunities will be available with 8 levels to choose from starting at $250. What a great chance for business owners and individuals to reach a large market for a minimal cost while supporting a great cause!

2008 Registration Dates

3/1/08 - 3/21/08 Returning Player Registration Period - returning players should register during this early registration period to guarantee a roster spot.

4/1/08 - 6/30/08 Public Registration Period - new players can register as early as April 1, provided space is available at their age level.

4/1/08 - 6/30/08 Cheerleader Registration Period - cheerleading registration will close much earlier this year. Please make sure to register during this period.

Please note that we have moved the equipment trailers to a warehouse (across from Wente’s) at 17933Chesterfield Airport Road. Our 1st day schedule will be

Saturday, November 3^rd

10:00 – 11:00 am 13/14’s

11:00 – Noon 12’s

Noon – 1:00 pm 11’s

1:00 – 2:00 pm 10’s

2:00 – 3:00 pm 9’s

3:00 – 4:00 pm 7’s and 8’s

Our 2nd day will be Saturday, December 1^st - scheduled and located same as the 1^st day.

Please make sure to remove all “Award” stickers leaving the “C” logo and helmet stripe. Try to remove stickers at room temperature – using a hair dryer may be helpful.

EQUIPMENT CHECKLIST:

-Helmet – players keep the chin strap

-Shoulder pads

-Home Navy Blue jersey

-Away White jersey – players keep their practice jersey

-Navy Blue Game Pants with Navy Belt

-Pants Pads – (2) knee pads, (2) thigh pads, (2) hip pads and (1) tail pad

Deposit checks will be returned once ALL CFA owned equipment is turned in as requested.

If for some reason you are unable to make it, please make arrangements with your Team Equipment Manager, Coach or Business Manager.

Finally, all Head Coaches need to return their team box, at least 5 footballs, bag, block and kicking tee’s on either day.

Warrenton Player Travis Scott

Travis Scott, an 11 year old football player in the Warrenton organization was killed in a hit and run accident last Saturday while walking home.

The family has little in the way of resources, so in order to help with the cost of the funeral and other expenses a trust fund has been set up with Bank of America, 1200 W. Pierce in Wentzville for those who wish to contribute. The B of A contact is Ann Marie Morgan and the Bank telephone number is 636-639-1261. I have been told that anyone can make a deposit at any Bank of America in the country using the "Michelle Scott Family Trust" name.

Travis was a very well liked and friendly child who had a great love of life and football. His funeral was yesterday in Warrenton (Martin Funeral Home & First Christian Church-both in Warrenton). The Scott family appreciates your help and kind words.
