Attention CFA Football Players:
We are one week away from the first of our two Equipment Pickups. Everything that you will need to know to navigate this painless pickup process is contained below. Please read this over carefully and you will find this experience both smooth and rewarding. We're looking forward to seeing all of you the weekend of 13/14 June.
Place: We will distribute player equipment on the north side of the levee at the Chesterfield Valley Athletic Complex (CVAC).
Time: We will distribute equipment by age/grade levels as we have done in past years. The table below shows the alignment of times over the two days for each age/grade group.
Saturday 13 June:
* 9 am - 11 am -- 7th/8th grade (ages 12/13/14)
* 11 am - 1 pm -- 6th grade (11 year olds)
* 1 pm - 3 pm -- 5th grade (10 year olds)
Sunday 14 June:
* 9 am - 11 am -- 4th grade (9 year olds)
* 11 am - 1 pm -- 3rd grade (8 year olds)
* 1 pm - 3 pm -- 2nd grade (7 year olds)
What to wear: Players should wear a t-shirt, gym shorts, and flip-flops to expedite the jersey and game pant fitting process.
What you will receive: Each player will be issued a helmet, a set of shoulder pads and pant pads. They will be fitted for their game jersey and pants but will not receive them at this time. Each player will also pick his jersey number from our available inventory.
What you need to bring to "Check-In": You will need to bring a maximum of four checks. Three of these checks are DEPOSIT checks and will be returned to you at the end of the season if your obligations for clean, returned equipment and work duty are fulfilled. A check made out to CFA for Equipment deposit ($200), a check made out to CFA for Cleaning deposit ($50) and a check made out to CFA for Work Duty deposit ($250) - no check if you "bought out" at registration. The fourth check is your PAYMENT check for your fund raiser trash bags ($120) - no check required if you "bought out" at registration.
How we are set up: Each player will start the process at "Check-In" where he will receive his player profile. He will then be "Measured" for helmet, jersey and pants. Next is "Helmet fitting", followed by "Shoulder Pad" and "Pant Pad fitting", "Game Jersey" and "Game Pant fitting", then "Number Selection" and finally "Check-Out". After checkout you are free to browse the Merchandise Trailer for all your CFA apparel. You can also purchase your son's chin-strap ($5) and mouth guard (3 price options beginning at $2). Finally, you will pick-up your fund-raiser trash bags unless you opted to "buy-out" of fund raising.
This whole process will last no longer than 15 minutes as long as we all adhere to the time slots that were outlined above. However, if you are unable to attend at the defined time, we absolutely want you get your equipment sometime during this first weekend so come when you are available. If you have any questions or concerns please feel to email us.
